After the war had ended, Legér returned to France. During this time, his paintings began to depict scenes of everyday life. His work became less abstract, with a strong emphasis on ordinary people rather than the avant-garde world.
Legér believed that 'color is… as indispensable to life as water or fire'.
We use archival inks on museum quality, medium weight paper for all our posters. Thus ensuring your piece is long-lasting and beautifully finished.
Our frames are made from locally sourced, sustainable Victorian Ash. The timber is milled, hand sanded and painted, right here in Melbourne. We use museum grade plexiglass for a very modern gallery look.
