Toros
By Picasso
After World War II, with Paris recently liberated, Picasso found himself bombarded by visitors. To escape, he sought refuge in the studio of lithographer Fernand Mourlot. There began an enduring artist-printmaker partnership, that resulted in some 400 lithographs.
Picasso enjoyed the lithographic process more than any other medium, as it allowed him to easily erase, rework and amend an image as he went. He once said. ‘The movement of my thought interests me more than the thought itself’.
Paper
We use archival inks on museum quality, medium weight paper for all our posters. Thus ensuring your piece is long-lasting and beautifully finished.
Frames
Our frames are made from locally sourced, sustainable Victorian Ash. The timber is milled, hand sanded and painted, right here in Melbourne. We use museum grade plexiglass for a very modern gallery look.
